Roger Fulton & Michael Carpenter For the past fifteen years, Roger Fulton and Michael Carpenter have collaborated on a variety of professional and personal projects. Between them, they have written sixteen books, contributed to three other books and edited five books. In addition, they have written more than 100 articles for magazines and journals.   Roger Fulton spends his winters hiking and biking his way through Florida and his summers seeking new trails to explore in the 1000 Island and Lake George Regions of northern New York State. Fulton is a retired captain of the New York State Police and has written several books in addition to the Common Man Series.   Michael Carpenter is a full-time college professor at Adirondack Community College in upstate New York and spends a good deal of his free time exploring some of the off-road places found in the Common Man Books series     To Footprint Press
