| Rich and Sue Freeman are natives of Rochester, NY, who for many years masqueraded as executives at Eastman Kodak Company; Rich as a Customer Service Manager, and Sue as a Marketing Director. In 1996 they turned their backs on the long hours, high pay, and empty feeling to spend six months walking the Appalachian Trail from Georgia to Maine. This trek changed their lives forever. Since returning to "civilized life," theyve adopted a simpler (less expensive) lifestyle and began working to increase peoples awareness and enjoyment of the natural environment that surrounds us. They established Footprint Press to write and publish books on the trails of NY. The Freemans are constantly on the lookout for their next adventure.
