High in the hills, between Canadice Lake and Honeoye Lake, this woodland area is treasured by winter enthusiasts because it often has snow when the surrounding area doesn’t. The trails in this park are constructed, maintained, and groomed in winter by volunteers from the NYS Section 5 Ski League. Throughout winter you’re likely to run into school ski teams practicing or racing on these trails. It’s a popular area for all levels.
In summer you can drive the 1.5 miles into the shelter area. In winter this unplowed road becomes part of the ski network. It affords a view of Honeoye Lake in the valley to the north.
